i will post some better pics once i finished my new display case - i actually designed the interchangeable mounting system so it would hold a knife this heavy...
i think it would still be a pretty good chopper since the sweet spot comes after the serrations - i admit the sharpened swedge will hinder batoning but i think it could still be usefull if you only had this knife with you - and the swedge and serrations would probably aid if you had to stab a bear or something
my friends from new zealand who were visiting actually said: man - back home we use knives like this for pig-hunting
i somehow wanted a steelheart and when my (very anti knife) gf saw those nuked swedge busses she was like: "now thats a knife - they look good - not like these puny folders of yours where the handle is longer than the blade" - i though - why not have a steelheart with the swedge and serrations?
