there are, let's say, local events unfolding.

And I'm just putting feelers out to get a gauge on where people might be at with regards to me going full hog in the leather shop and making sheaths again, starting almost right away.

It would really help me out if I could get a sense of where you might be at wrt the following; Would you be down for a CPK sheath? For what model knife?

Thank you in advance for making a comment. This is just a 'feeler's out' thread and I will definitely not hold anyone to anything.
:)

Yes, Lorien! I’d love a sheath for my FK3 (no dangler setup, just a belt sheath), I know a lot of people have the FK3/BFK, you could probably get multiples going unless I missed these already? I should have asked for a UF2 sheath at some point also 😭.

Outside of that, I’d also be down for a leather Skinner sheath in the future when those are being birthed.

-FK2 Sheath
-EDC 1.2 pocket sheath in a small minimal footprint proportional to your small footprint pocket sheath for a DEK 1
-DEK 3 pocket sheath in a small minimal footprint like your small footprint DEK 1 sheath
-Skinner 2.0 sheath
-Kukri 2.0 Sheath

That’s all I can think of for now 🤣, that I would like to add for my CPK collection

welp...I just quit my job.
I'll be easing back in to full time knife and sheath making, and will be starting a big batch of sheaths very soon...

Onto the next chapter! 🤞

Your sheaths are also my favorite. They carry so well. I love how close they run up against the blade's silhouette. Can't complain about the warm colors you usually use for the leather, the build quality, etc.

I'd say a sheath for the HDFK but I'm fortunate to own one.

+1 for the DEK2 but just talking numbers, it might not be a bad idea to start with the FK3. You'd be able to target a larger audience. Get your work into more hands, etc.

I'd love a leather sheath for my OG Field Knife, but I can't image that it would be a popular pattern for production...
do you mean the og og? With the chisel at the end of the handle?

I designed a sheath for that knife, on paper, back when I designed the knife. It was a system design, which is how I go about developing knives/sheaths. I might revisit it.

Also, the Kephart- a great knife. Also meant to create a template for that one, too.
