• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Hello,
shure you know this feeling, you ordered a new knife, longing for news about it's state, but news are scarce.....
Then finally you get a call: "The blade is done, what kind of handle do you want? What kind of wood, brass or german silver, do you like ivory? Thick handle or slim?
Well, I just recieved some snapshots from Rodrigo (www.2gknives.com) unfortunately the forging of the blade is not documented, but here the final steps!

Specs: 5" blade forged from 52100
Handle: German silver, aluminium and fiber spacers, wood, leather washers, bordeaux fiber, leather washers, ivory (pre ban), leather and stag crown.

Now I just need to wait until Pepín Vives will taylor a fine sheridan suit!

Any doubts about stick tangs? This is 6mm x 14mm, that's more than Randalls CDT.

Once I'll hold this beauty in my hands, I'll post some more pics and will tell how it performs.
