The Toad Rules

Will someone inform Levi Strauss that they should rename the watch pocket as the "Toad Pocket." They might end up selling more jeans as a result. Probably more people carrying toads in there than watches. As for coins, who carries them nowdays? I get rid of them as soon as I can.

I never carry anything other than a knife in my "knife pockets". Grandad taught me to carry my money in the left front pocket and my knife in the right front pocket.
That is if you are right handed.
Sometimes I also carry a Umfaan or VBM-UDT in the lower right pocket. Can't scratch the Toad, and vice-versa.
I've had a folder in that right pocket for 38 years. Knives sure have improved!

I thought I read somewhere that a princess kissed a "Toad" and it turned into a "Military."

Seriously, there appears to be more Toad fans than most people realize. Anybody know how many Toads were made? Were they all numbered? How numbered: plain edge vs. spyderedge?

I know that this is an old post, but I had to comment. I just got my toad the other day and I am impressed! This little guy is tougher than he looks. I think that I am going to save up and buy a plain edge one too! The funny thing is, at first I was hestitant to spend so much on such a small knife but I am glad that I did. I don't know how people can call this knife ugly. In the words of my girlfriend, "It's kinda cute". 'Nuff said.
More Toads For All!,
Matt
