Well, the news is mixed.... I am in the process of moving to the West Fork of the Bitterroot in Montana..... I have been living in one of the most incredibly beautiful places in the known universe to another incredibly beautiful place. I am living part time in Montana and loving it....

One of the most wonderful things about the move is being located just a wee bit down the road from a lovely camp on the Nez Perce River...... More on that later....

My apologies for the neglect but it has been a case of my life in flux and burnout..... Soooooo....I have replaced the fire brick and I have a good tinder bundle and am gonna light her up......

Nice to see you checking back in sir! I’ve enjoyed reading your insights over the years and also your excellent designs.

I agree about life’s ebb and flow of inspirations and interests. I’m glad you found a renewed interest and I’m sure the community is grateful for your return.

Welcome home!

You definately are moving to one of my favorite places on this earth ... absolutely beautiful and peaceful ... a small slice of heaven on earth (at least my heaven) ...

Take your time take a deep breath and enjoy life ... think you've earned that ... best wishes on the move and taking time to enjoy the finer things.

Yes it is! My dream it to hunt the Milk River in Montana one day and hopefully stick me a gigantic Mulie or Whitetail!

Hi Ethan,

It is a pleasure to be able to say “hello”. :D

Oh nice knives! Especially the ones that show work on them! I hope the BK 4 comes back bigger and better!

E. Good to hear from you and your getting the best revenge against Murphy's Law, doing what ya want and living where ya want!

Montana is nice, the effects of it on my family are still felt today.

My maternal grand father moved there as a baby from Finland, he grew up hunting and fishing of which he made dang sure his kids knew how to do it even after he moved a few states over.

And mom taught me most of the things I know, not the how to live off the land with one beaver tooth/tusk stuff but more stuff I think its buried in my head some where to recall when I need it. Me I been teaching nieces and nephews as I can.
