This one has become my Sunday knife. My wife and 2 boys gave it to me for Father's Day this year and I just love it!

Picked up this 7-dot (1993 manufacture) 3 3/4" SS Case 51405L Lockback with Stag covers recently. Even stag figuring on both sides and the coloring is even on both sides too.

Thanks Todd, I appreciate your kind words, my wife keeps telling me the same thing, one of these days I'll buy a camera, I've been saying that for a few years now, but my cell phone camera has treated me well.

Pete, if you're not a professional photographer, you missed your calling.

+1. Great pics Pete :)

I went for a long walk along the Leeds-Liverepool canal (not the whole way!) yesterday, with the Charlow Duncan gave me last week. Picked up about 3ibs of blackberries too :)

Hope you're all having a great Sunday

Three pounds!!!! mmmmmmmm I expect to see a nice blackberry pie along with some knife action. Love the bottom photo the best!

Thanks Gary, I think that's part of the mechanism for operating the sluice gates on a canal lock, the cut-out is to allow regular greasing of the bearing, though the cut-out is usually quite plain. The 14 mile section of canal we walked yesterday drops a lot, and so there are numerous locks and several lock ladders (or staircase flight), including this five-rise flight.

The flight where the photo of my Charlow is taken has four steps, and there are two others with three. Must be an exhausting trip!

Thanks Mr G. Most of the blackberries went in a big crumble, most of it got eaten last night, but I've just had a piece for after my lunch, and I might be able to squeeze in the last portion later ;)

I wanted to post this in the Saturday Stag Show thread, but didn't get a chance to take a pic yesterday. I'll show it here because there's a good chance that I'd forget about it by next Saturday.

The 2009 BF Traditional Forum knife was by far my favorite, so far. D2 clip and Wharncliffe blades, awesome stag that was anonymously donated by one of our forum members, Queen mark on the clip blade, S&M mark on the Wharncliffe, 3.5" closed. Fit and finish is exceptional.
