Went out on what I call my "Prairie Walk" because it truly is a walk in the Prairie;) Flat land but an endless pallet of fall colors mixed throughout the grasses and old abandoned farm implements.

I take my two dogs and I mean this seriously when I say it's a little slice of Heaven:)

Had a few knives with me so here are some pictures;)

My companions, the little black Sheltie sports a blue left eye...

I never saw the beauty in the Prairie when I was young but as I age I have a true appreciation of where I live:thumbup: Notice the "Prairie Trees" on the right:D

Enjoy your Sunday night everyone:)

Great images Paul. You have beautiful dogs and the scenery is great. Thanks for sharing them along with the great knives.

Chris

Thank you Chris, that old boy on the left (my avatar) is hands down the greatest dog/friend I've had. He's like me, a little stiff and sore these days but still thinks he can whip someone half his age:D

Thanks Paul and Cards!

Real Barlow today.

A great Barlow DH:thumbup:

Paul I really enjoyed your series of photos today. Thanks for posting.

Thank you TX, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and the plains do hold beauty. Just took me a few years to realize it:o

Great shots Paul

Thanks as well Jerry, I wish the Forum knife would've worked for you. I struggle a lil with it also.

Thanks Mark, they are my buddies for sure:thumbup: You give them a treat and rub their bellies and they will help you take everything in my house, INCLUDING ALL MY KNIVES:D They will be your friends for life:p

I enjoyed your walk Paul :) When I was younger, I'd go some place and just wanted to climb the highest hill/mountain I could see. Now, I'm quite happy with the valleys for the most part ;)

Have a great Sunday everyone :)
