Went out on what I call my "Prairie Walk" because it truly is a walk in the Prairie Flat land but an endless pallet of fall colors mixed throughout the grasses and old abandoned farm implements.

I take my two dogs and I mean this seriously when I say it's a little slice of Heaven

Had a few knives with me so here are some pictures

My companions, the little black Sheltie sports a blue left eye...

Some vivid color in amongst the grass

I never saw the beauty in the Prairie when I was young but as I age I have a true appreciation of where I live:thumbup: Notice the "Prairie Trees" on the right

Inspection badges on the power poles...

The remnants left over in a nest...

Thank you Chris, that old boy on the left (my avatar) is hands down the greatest dog/friend I've had. He's like me, a little stiff and sore these days but still thinks he can whip someone half his age

I enjoyed your walk Paul When I was younger, I'd go some place and just wanted to climb the highest hill/mountain I could see. Now, I'm quite happy with the valleys for the most part
