I have been looking for another example of that Keen Kutter for years!!!!! I keep mine right in front of me on my monitor, all the time. It's an old misused one and it is such the perfect knife, if only the blades were full. The coined liners are something else. Any more close-up pictures of yours would be fantastic, if your of a mind:D

Man of man.....there she is in all her glory ...from every angle!!! So wonderful to see another one is such splendid condition! Thank you soooo much for taking the time to get these photographs!!
One of the finest stockman made ...IMHO. Thank you again for doing this! I really appreciate it:D:D

My pleasure. I've had that one for years now, and if I recall correctly, I found it at an antique store. I do not recall what I paid for it, but it was certainly less than 50 bucks back then.
I always thought the coined liners and the other little details went above and beyond to make this one a great and classy pocketknife.

No doubt about it! Very classy. I like the fact that the secondary blades are so long as well. Here is the "good side" of mine. It was only a dollar or two;found in a bin at a knife store.

Nice! Yours appears to be more pocket worn, which is good - shows character! I wish we could hear the stories they could tell. Do you have any idea when our knives might have been made?

Yes..if only they could talk:thumbup:

I suspect some time after 1940 as per the tang stamp and information just provided in the OLD Knives thread by Danno50 on post 8170 (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/527126-quot-Old-Knives-quot/page409) An interesting question to me is who made them?

If anyone has any more info, please let us know.

Two beautiful knives gents, and a very interesting discussion. How about asking Frank or Gary to move/duplicate it to the Old Knives thread, so it can be continued there, and won't be 'lost' here? Just a thought

Great idea, Jack! It would fit in with the discussion already happening. Gary or Frank? I will give them some time to see this and respond before asking directly. Thanks, Jack
