The TRADITIONAL sunday picture show!!!!

Ok - I know I have been posting too many pics of this Schrade Walden in several different threads. I probably paid too much for it and was actually kind of disappointed when I first opened the package (although the seller did give an accurate description.) However, this may be the most interesting knife I own from a photography point of view.

A re-post, but I love this picture so here it is again-- an accumulation of days, the knives and accoutrement that floated up and out throughout a prior span of work and play (including clicking, clacking, and comparing, of course):

That looks like one big penny Sarah.

^^^ It's Che-chen Rosewood, and it's super lightweight. I really like it, especially on a larger folder like the #42.

And it's still Sunday over yonder...

You'd have to explain why you were disappointed, because to my eye it's a little gem abounding with character.

Thanks! I love it now. It is oozing with character. My initial reaction was a little disappointment but I have since recovered.

A little of both I suspect Phil. That's a very big Sodbuster, but as Khukuri's go, that one's on the smaller side I think.:cool:

Sorry I missed this until now Bob. Your suspicions are correct! They are both around a footlong.

Ehhh who cares if there's one last bump until next Sunday...

Browning Silver Hunter 20ga, Bret Dowell 4" Trapper and L.T. Wright Hunter Pro Elite.

Here we are again! :) Hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend (not overburdened with snow-shovelling). Have a great Sunday Porch-folk

Having a second late breakfast with the little one(I've also became a father)
Carrying a hell of an ugly knife that I find the most comfortable in the world

Power just went out. Didn't have dry kindling so had to make my own from the split firewood. Who needs an axe?
