Stunning knife Derek, I would have complimented you on it yesterday if CloudFlare had let me!

Thank you, JB! It's a great addition to my BRKT collection. I've got three of the real small models - here's the Essential with my Imp and my Bumble Bee (with food-prep patina):

Old recycled pic, but gosh darn it, I just love this one!

Thanks for the extra pic Derek, three great-looking knives

Sunday evening picnic with some old and new friends watching the sun go down...

GEC #18 Coyote in smooth brown camel bone.

Queen #69 clip-blade -- absolutely fantastic bone on this knife.

Russell mystery granddaddy Barlow -- a personal favorite.

Ran into this brash little fellow on the way back. We had about a 2 minute standoff in the road before I managed to wrangle my phone and snap some pictures. I really think he had no fear of my car despite the size and noise differences. It's not unheard of to see random peacocks in this state but it's rare enough to be notable. I wonder how my nieces will react to these photos.

Sorry Tsarbomba, somehow I screwed up the format of quoting your post-

Off topic- At my mother in-law's house across the lake, there are 30-50 of these menaces. I understand most people think peacocks are beautiful creatures, but if you have a bunch of them, they are horrible! Giant poop everywhere, stubborn, and worst of all, LOUD. Anytime they are "alerted/ alerting" the noise from a group of them is ridiculous.

Bruce (aka peacock hater)

I can see where you're coming from, Bruce. The fella pictured herein was a little truculent about moving out of the road. I think he took the gentle honk from my horn to be a sign of aggressiveness. I waited him out and he eventually went to pick from one of the lawns on the block, but he certainly didn't seem to care much about the large mechanical beast slowly moving alongside him, or the large organic beast behind the wheel snapping photos while he ate. :p

Sitting in the late morning sun, having a coffee with my best friend - Finlay is such an eejit. :)
