Very cool Eric. Was that a prototype for the BF knife?

Yes, had a few parts laying around from when we were checking to see if everything would work with the nail mark on the same side, so I figured I'd get a little adventurous with the covers. :D

Brian, you absolutely crushed it today. The first knife, the Crisner with the Indian Head shield: is that bone? Ivory? It's perfect, literally. I see no marks or discolorations or striations or anything. Gorgeous knife.

Great bloodwood on the 85, too.

What are the specs on the last knife, the Congress?

Thanks! I got both of them off of the Exchange. I do not know what the scales are on the Crisner; I am 99% sure it is not Ivory. It looks composite to me - definitely not bone. [Late edit: It is French Ivory.] If you look closely at the first picture you can see some striations.

All I know about the Congress is that it is stag. I don't even know what the 74 stamped on it is - I was meaning to look into that today...[Edit: I forgot I did do a little research and didn't find anything on it.]

I don't think you'll hear anyone complainin' about too many pictures here. :)

So sweet, that came out great, what's the center piece, micrta?

Ted, the center is G10, the "bolsters" are linen micarta.

Thank you very much Paul, it was a lucky find. That's the big house at Ripley Castle in the background. That's a nice pic, are the blackberries out already? ;)
