Was in San Francisco this weekend for a trade show called American Field. All American made goods and mostly small businesses. They host these events all over the US so check it out if you have a chance. There was an air show going on at the same time which was awesome to watch. Had dinner at the place in my pics. Lots of fun.

Me too! I was sure it would be here yesterday because it hit KC Friday morning, that always means next day delivery. Ugh and tomorrow is a holiday. But these two made it. I've been wanting an old scout. And the tuxedo happened because of that formal knife thread, lol.

Wow that's awesome! I drove south down the 1 towards LA and stopped off in Carmel for some brunch.
Then headed to Big Sur which had some really neat cloud cover. There's ocean somewhere under the clouds. Almost felt like I was looking out the window of a Jet from 30k feet up.

A study in wood.
In no particular order; snakewood, jobillo, ebony, rosewood, bocote, and African blackwood.
There are many that I'm missing like cocobolo, che chen rosewood and the rare zebrawood and jigged walnut both from '08 but it's the '12 kingwood that I really want for the collection.
