John, the TCs sure are attractive... that one is no exception. Two of the TC's most endearing qualites are ruggedness and simplicity, characteristics your picture has captured very well. Nice job!!! -James

Thank you, sir. I think that is what really attracts me to the TC's and traditional knives in general. They remind me of simpler times. :)

Good morning Kris. As much as I admire the folders you post, it's the fixed blades that really set the standard. They are truly works of art. You know what I think of the John White and this Craddock and Steingass are right up there. Stay safe.

Thank you Shawn and Alan, I sure appreciate the kind words. The Loveless is no slouch either! I am only buying a few nice knives a year from now on. This year I have two fixed blades coming, both will be very special. One from ABS J.S. Ben Seward and a real stunner from ABS M.S. Russ Andrews. For me, a folding knife is a luxury and a fixed blade is a necessity. Have a great Sunday, gentlemen.

Kris

Kris look forward to seeing what you have made from Ben Seward. I have been following his work on IG and it is certainly amazing, especially being such a young knifemaker. He deserved that win of his on best fighter on the custom subforum. I will have to look up Mr Andrews. All your knives are stunning.

Here's a gathering of Micarta handles. Didn't include the vintage westinghouse LC, but have my latest Promethean, which has some vintage micarta. I am gonna see how it does butterflying a leg of lamb. We generally get two lambs a year from a nearby farm.
