The TRADITIONAL sunday picture show!!!!

Decided to spark up the grill to spend my Sunday smoking a chicken so I figured why not take my red stag along

LOL! :D I wondered what was going on, I was wondering where you were based! :D We've all done it at some point in our lives, well most of us anyway! :D :thumbsup:
 
I've been porched, a couple of weeks back I had mentioned (might have even been this thread) that the Victorinox White Scientist was my grail SAK. I always wanted one, not so much because of the value or rarity but because I really liked the minimalist layout and I actually do use the corkscrew :). As happens here often someone, (yablanowitz) made a generous offer to send me a homemade Scientist. Thanks Jack there's a smile that's been on my face since last week.

I've been meaning to post up some pics but my camera developed a glitch, I'm hopin' it's just a lens that can be replaced, unfortunately I only have the one lens so I have to wait till I get to a camera store and try one of their lenses and make sure it's not the camera body :( Anyway I fixed my wife's point and shoot so I apologize for the quality, it'll take me a few pics to remember how to get the most from this camera. :)

So here are a two from this afternoon. One here in my shop where I had to make some pieces to fix the wife's P&S camera

and the other in the kitchen, it was makin' lunch. I made chicken salad for one 'cause that's all the chicken that was left from dinner. :)

I just want to mention this isn't a real Scientist but an incredible simulation Yes, I've been FrankenSAKed and this knife shall henceforth and forevermore be referred to as , the Mad Scientist. (ETA: What else would the Mad Hungarian carry? )

Jack, it's an incredible gift that will get carried frequently, appreciated often and remind me always of one of the friendships forged here, rockin' back and forth with one of the fine folks on the Porch. That'd sure make a nice needlepoint :)
