You might have noticed that I'm a sucker for a Barlow, stockman or whittler. Here's what I think is a particularly nice Henckels HK-7-GP true whittler with green picked bone scales:

I bought that one in 1996. Those were made for Henckels by Boker Germany from 1991 through 2007.

Not quite midnight here..
I was carrying my Camillus 22 Pony Jack as I and my little sister traversed the Mountain Loop Highway today.
This was one of many turnouts and or camping spots along the northern leg of the loop and the Swauk River.
A very scenic drive with many vistas of mountains and rivers along the way.
