A beautiful Sunday morning. The family sleeping in so a bit of quiet time drinking coffee and finishing up the joint flushing I started yesterday. It’s amazing what an over night soak in mineral oil does for a knife that’s been sitting with factory buffing compound in it for 50 years!View attachment 1337633

One more from my photo archives, dating back to 4 months ago. I posted this in another thread at that time but not sure where so apologize if it was already shown here. 5" Green River Works blade that I mail ordered and applied handle scales from some well seasoned black locust scrap I had around the shop, end cut from a bow stave. Used a wood burner to apply edge decoration.
