A hunting Bowie knife made by 'Joseph Rodgers & Sons' of Sheffield England. My understanding is that this model was at least made from the last decade of the 1800's, to around the first two decades of the 1900's.
I believe the sheath style may more likely place it nearer to the older part of that range.
