The TRADITIONAL sunday picture show!!!!

Missed Stag Saturday due to a power failure so here's to Sundays and Stag.

Thanks Jack a small stag seemed just right for today. The power failure was due to an unusually sever storm. With that storm behind us I don't expect any further difficulty. Not much we can do about storms which fortunately have been fairly rare here. So we're just assessing our preparedness for the next outage.

Hope there's no other damage James :thumbsup: We get severe storms only very rarely here, but I'm always prepared anyway! :D :thumbsup:
 
We did OK this time but there's room for improvement. A couple of days without running water makes one really appreciate the power company's workers when it's turned back on. Today... line-men are my heroes!!

I know what you mean my friend, I spent a lot of time living without running water when I was a youngster, but I'm a lot softer these days! :D It's been decades since that happened to me, for that long, here. It must have been great to get it back on James :) Have a good one yourself :thumbsup:

That's the worst thing about having a well. When the power's out, the pump won't pump 😦
I'm a big fan of indoor plumbing :)

Back in '94 when I bought this place the power would go out with regularity. Then 15 years or so ago we had a big ice storm and some folks power was out for days. After that, the power company embarked on a major tree trimming, and line rerouting campaign and now it only goes out when there's a big storm and even then, not very often.

Ha ha!! I currently don't pick up that many knives at one time!!
