Picked this OD 83 up on a new gear sale app I stumbled across. Was advertised as near mint with a used price tag. I took a chance and it was definitely carried and had patina and scratch marks where the owner tried to just scratch the patina off. Polished it up, forced a patina on it and grabbed the last piece of leather shoe string I had from my Doc Martens from the 90s as a lanyard. Hasn’t left my pocket since…

Homemade bows, two of osage and one snake skin backed bow of hop hornbeam. Hunting season opens next weekend here.
