Schrade Tennessee River Trapper (TRT96). These TRT96 trappers were some of the last "in-house" Schrades made before Schrade closed it's doors in July of 2004. I like these as they have no shield to interrupt the jigging.
Interesting Note:
These knives were as I said above, made in house at Schrade sometime around July 2004 just before Schrade closed their doors. The box/packaging they came in however was made in China. Some people who read the packaging label on the back of the box read over the "Product made in the U.S.A." and read only the "Package made in China" and thus assume the knife is made in China too. Not so. I've got two of these TRT96 trappers and their packaging so, the following picture illustrates what I'm talking - errrrrrrrr typing about.
