I usually present brighter, more attractive pics! I'm embarrassed by this one, but I felt I had to get it out there to point out the similaries between my knife, and A Arathol 's!!

This is my first Case knife of any kind and it's a beaut!! I am on a continuing knife-buying moratorium (which I violated yesterday 🙄 when I saw a bargain in the knife case at my local gun store: See my upcoming post in the puukko thread), but this Case folder is a gift from one of my students. He is honing his leather working skills and did a terrific job on the belt sheath, too.

As my first Case it really surprised me. I know Case is a reputable company, but the fit and finish, walk and talk, the grind and sharpening, and the feel of the knife in the hand are surprising. The blade slices through baling twine and straps, cuts cardboard, and sliced apples for the horses beautifully. The hoofpick? It is perfect! It worked better than the cheap "bent screwdriver" types from the feed store and I can open it with gloves on (something I cannot do with my Victorinox Equestrian SAK hoofpick). I'll be posting more about it in weeks to come.
