The Trapper That Wasn't There: A Halloween Story

Again, thank you gentlemen for the kind words. It's always a pleasure to tell a yarn for my grandchildren.:D

Great tale Carl!. Yes in deed,, a yard in time is worth nine :).. or some such like that is what my old Grandma Katherine used to say. She always had good stories at the ready too.. I loved that fine old woman..

.. But again, Super Great Story jackknife. I really got a feel for every visual and was choked up more than once during this one. I read her last evening and purposely left the browser on here this morning to read her again. I belive this one has the potential of a series of stories,, of wanting to know more about old man, did he originally build his cabin, the old Remington Trapper, exct??. But hell, what do I know?.  :D

Thanks,

Anthony

A great story jackknife and a big thank you for sharing it. I truly love your stories and have never been much of a reader but your style just draws me in and the anticipation for the next one is hard to contain. :)

I'm a newcomer to these tales. Been reading through the older ones over the last week or so. Good stuff, please keep it up.

Thank you for another great story jackknife. Your stories are the main reason that I got into traditional knives just over a year ago. it always makes my day when I come home and see another story from you! I am already looking forward to the next one!

Jackknife, I always set aside time when it's nice and quiet to read your stories. Again another great story and a great way to start the weekend.

Thank you,

Paul
