Copycat!Truck knife = serrated spyderco pacific salt
For me, the more likely scenario is that I could lose it lol or I let someone borrow it and they lose it or do something stupid with it.I noticed a lot of you worried about theft. Do yall live in New Orleans too??That’s certainly the reason I keep the opinels and the buck in my truck because I wouldn’t be crushed if they got stolen. I do take the risk with the little native cause I love to fidget with it when I’m driving. It helps me from smoking in the truck. But I do have a little hiding place for it and also got a deal on it here on blade forumns but it would hurt to lose it.
Thanks to ya’ll, I’m now in the market for a fixed blade to keep in the truck.
Having no knife restrictions in Louisiana (at least that I know of) really make it hard to consider not being able to own or carry any knife you want at the moment. Sorry to say but it must really suck for a knife enthusiasts. I really don’t even think to consider it when bringing a knife with me when traveling. Maybe I should, it’s kind of like walking out of a bar with a beer and quickly being reprimanded. Literally called back in the bar by staff. I don’t do it on purpose it’s just so natural and normal for me.Interesting question. In Massachusetts, USA, the carry laws apply to your person and your vehicle. So I just keep something compliant in the glove box- in my case, a Buck Bantom 286.
Here in MA, the vehicle is an extension of the person, if you've left the home. At home, we can own any knife (I believe). Interesting how much things vary by state.Having no knife restrictions in Louisiana (at least that I know of) really make it hard to consider not being able to own or carry any knife you want at the moment. One question I have is it ok to own any knife but just not carry? And isn’t the vehicle an extension of the home?
Looks like a cool little knife! And cudos on the clutter free center console!!Here’s one that rides in the center console, never really used it yet because there’s more in there…later for those pics

Woodsman’s Pal
Spyderco K2 because it’s always on me
KaBar Dozier I’m giving to an employee
Viper BlafeForums 2020 knife that I essentially forgot about since receiving it in the mail.
Spyderco DogTag is my most recent purchase, hasn’t made the trip inside yet.
Great. Another category of knife I need to buy.
The only time I am without that knife is in the shower and anywhere knives are searched for and not allowed.
