Am I the only one who finds it extremely inconvenient? The promise of secure sign in for 30 sure does not work for me, 2 days at best.

Your web browser is probably set to clear the cookies. Not a website issue.

I don't use 2-factor log in.
I use a 15 character password, which I only use to access this site.
So log in for me is user name and password, then hit <enter>

I am very appreciative of your advice. Unfortunately, I don't understand?

Cookies are small data files that websites store in your browser to remember your settings and keep you signed in.

They don’t store your actual password, but they do store a session token that tells the site you’re already logged in.

If cookies are cleared, the site forgets you, so you may get logged out and lose saved preferences.

To avoid that, check your browser settings, make sure cookies are enabled, and see if there’s any option set to clear cookies automatically and disable it.

I use 1Password now, which handles it automatically, cookies or not, both across Windows and iOS. I can recommend it.

I trust it more than Google or MS to store passwords.

Also, when you log in there is a check box under the password entry field. The box says "stay logged in". Make certain the box is checked.
