If you could only own one Busse, which would it be? Which knife encompasses what Busses are all about the best?

This is a roundabout way of asking which Busse I should look for as my first. :cool:
 
which ever one you can afford for your first. after that you'll want them all. welcome to the sickness.
 
Oh! the thought of only one Busse is depressing. Everyone is going to have a different favorite, but after useing and abusing my SAR4 all summer im kinda leaning that way. I didn't really like it much at first but after much use its becomming my favorite.Good luck on getting your first Busse, what ever you get you'll love it, there are no losers in the Busse line.

SHSH II....INFI. Great chopper, camp knife, easy to choke up on for small work also.

Recent:
Toss up....ASH1 or a CGFBM. Guess it depends on what you would be doing the most. Chopping or camp chore/work. I just got done using an ASH1 while camping and it performed really well except in the realm of chopping. I still believe that the FBM is hands down one of the best choppers for the buck.

Of course it doesn't hurt to have the best of both worlds....I have a modded ASH1 and a NMFBM.:D

I think the answer lies in what you want a knife to do....Infi is at it's best in a chopper....how much knife you want to carry after that answers your question.

Value for money wise....the NMSFNO is hard to beat....if money is no issue....take your pick from any of the larger knives...possibly one of the Battle Mistresses...probably a SHBM 1-300 epitimises a Busse....for me though I like a Khukri and it would be the Zilla.

it's call the holy grail. I don't know if I have a holy grail knive, if I did, it might be my first busse that I've been trying to get back, but I have since then loved so many others. And lots of people here just can't pick one...

WOW, tough question.

I'd go with a skinny ASH1 or a FSH. Either one is sweet in the hand!!!

From a practical standpoint, the NMSFNO does everything a big knife should do, and does it well.

From an emotional standpoint, it'd be hard to part with my recently acquired snakeskin mojo. I loveeeee the lines of that knife, and it's no slouch at camp chores, although it's nowhere near as powerful a chopper as the NSMFNO.

NMFBM! Ask in say 6 weeks and It may be the Tank Buster but for now it is the one the NMFBM.

MOFO, nothing else can compare to the all-around perfect Busse. It performs better and looks better than anything ever to come out of the shop, really :)

I DO think a saber grind would improve the chopping...
