If yall remember a while back, we posted up a prototype survival kit that housed the RC6 or RC5 knife. We had initially named it the RAT Pack (that will probably change). Well, we finally got production going on these and will be offering them for sale once we return from Peru. Here's the way they are going to come outfitted: The pack itself, your choice of an RC6 or RC5 knife, a RAT Fire Kit, knife sharpener, associated shock cords and Aloksak storage bags made to fit the pockets of the pack. The knife sharpener is housed inside the Kydex sheath that comes with the pack. The kit is designed specifically around the RC6 / RC 5 and RAT Fire Kit. Due to pricing, these will not be offered through our dealer network and only available directly from RAT. The knife you choose will not come with its standard sheathing since it is designed to fit in the pack. We do not have final pricing or any other answers available to any other questions right now. Just know that we will have this on our web site for sale around the first part of November.

Thanks for the update! I've been watching for this since I saw the original post. I can't wait! Looks like a great setup.
 
The cool thing is with all the stuff you're getting, all you have to add is a few of your own survival tools inside the pockets and you are good to go with an easy to carry, on the go, survival pack. This thing is built like a tank too.

What other knife company comes out with so many cool toys?!
 
Awesome!:thumbup: Great Job RAT, and thanks for putting the 5 or 6 option. People are going to love that. May not realize it, but you have some real RC-5 fans around these parts :)
 
Freaking awesome.

Not just too sure what I would do with such a rig....but that has never stopped me from picking up cool stuff before!

Stuff it full of gear and wear it! I'm thinking some firestarters and a chainsaw. Very excited to see this one
 
Now that's nice! Gonna have to make room on my pack for that one! Too bad none of my gear is khaki, but it'll go pretty ok with green so I'm all set! :D

At first I though I was going to pass on it...but after seeing it again I think I'd be foolish not to grab one! :cool:
 
pretty cool. though i don't think i would ever lug around anything bigger than an RC-4 (and even that would be rare), this setup would make a decent addition to any vehicle kit. now if only i can get out of the city so i can justify it :)
 
strap it to my external frame pack and im all set for the trail. very nice. now I can REALLY justify an RC 5
 
That looks like a great reason to finally pick up an RC-6.


It's hard to justify buying another fixed blade when one already has an RC-4, really. :D
 
i have been putting off picking up an rc6 just for this release good to see progresss looks perfect for what im wanting it for. thanks guys!
