This is exactly what I really want for my 2011 Annual LE

I have had many different Sebenza configurations over the years, I think the only thing I haven't had from your list is serrations. That being said my next work EDC will be;

Large Micarta Insingo with stone washed S35VN blade and double silver thumbstuds, matching silver back spacer, clip and lanyard removed.

I have been hoping that CRK would offer all these options together for some time and my patience will soon be rewarded.

I want a Plain-Jane MEDIUM Sebenza with 3.3 inch blade
Single Thumbstud
Regular style stonewashed blade
Regular style handle
s90V or similar steel

To be honest, I really do not care about the options or styles. I just want a medium sized Sebenza.

I would LOVE to have a S90V or S110V blade. That would be #1 for me.

Large

Drop Point (21/Regular/Classic) not sure what i like best

Handle - 21 (never handled any other CRK besides my 21, but i love it) with Kevlar Carbon Fiber.

Thumbstud - i like how gold stands out, but I'll take the regular dual blue :D

Blade - Partial Serrations - No

Blade - Polished - Yes

Cabochon (includes goid coin) - No

Swedge - No

Thumbstud and Backspacer Color Matching - Yes you can never have enough blue!

so how about it? Sebenza 21 with kevlar CF inlays, dual blue studs, and S90V blade.... amidoinitright?

I'd want a set of 3
Large, Small, & Umfaan

Size - Large, Small, & Umfaan
Blade - Shape - Wharncliffe (Insigno)
Blade - Steel - Damascus (River of Fire)
Handle - Shape - Regular
Handle - Inlay - Mammoth Ivory (Inner Ivory) + Scrimshaw
Thumbstud - Gold
Thumbstud # - Dual
Blade - Partial Serrations - No
Blade - Polished - Yes
Cabochon (includes gold coin) - No
Thumbstud and Backspacer Color Matching - Yes

For EDC, i'd take a large swedged plain regular sebenza with dual silver thumb-lugs, no serrations.

For all of those that would like to have an s90v blade I would suggest that you contact Reese Weiland, he works with s90v steel and does a nice job on making custom fit blades for knives. The only problem is he will not be able to put a stonewashed finish on it, it will only be able to be satin finish.

I've added left/right handedness to the list. Sorry, Lefties, didn't mean to forget you!

I hope we get more participation in this thread. I'd like to
compile some numbers on people's preferences, and need a good sample size to do it. Reading about what you consider a "must-have" option is interesting to me, maybe I'm just a weirdo, though.

The wharncliffe style blade is a very appealing design. I'm sure there are many who are just as excited as you are the insigno will be going into regular production.

I had serrations on a large micarta, but did not like them. I find they take up too much cutting space on the blade. It would be even worse on the small blade.

At the time I used it for skydiving and the serrations were necessary. I found much better performance for size/weight out of cheap $10 hook knives designed for parachuting. Sometimes the simple/cheap solution is best.

I did regret getting the serrations. YMMV.

Nice. Interesting choice on using silver thumbstuds with the bark ivory, what factors made you go for silver?

I considered silver myself, but went with gold as it complimented the ivory's hue well.

With a dull-lug, S90V Lochsa on order, it pretty much fills the slot of "Fantasy Sebenza".

I've owned many of the combinations above (not as much as M.r Segura:)), and had the privilege to experience most of the current CRK offerings. These new knives are amazing, but the older ones just resonate more with me personally. With my main interest in older CR knives, the one I'd most like to get is an early #'d P with one of Chris' graphics.

That said, there are two knives that I would like to get from CRK current stock - A working, DL Micarta Lg. Insingo Seb, and a small "Morning Sun" unique graphic for business EDC. That would just about do it for me until another grail Seb pops up.

O man, Im jealous. The lochsa is a knife I would give anything to have but realistically probably will never have a chance to own one. Its probably one of the hardest
knives to get a hold of. Would love to see some pics when you recieve yours.
