Bowies are dumb

Design particulars matter. Long, lean bowies with a straight clip, or a very shallow recurve, have pleasing lines (IMHO) and are functional. In a very limited role. see Bagwell.

Short, curved clips are dumb and ugly.

I love the SDFK. I got a Basic with the OD green Terotuf. I really wanted the SS SDFK, maybe I’ll try one last time on the next sale. I’m just really glad that I at least have an SDFK.

Dude I really hope everyone who wants the SDFK is able to get one while they’re available. It’s hands down the best knife in the world in it’s size. I would put it up against any knife in my collection. All my Dad and I need is the Behemoth Chopper, so if anyone is willing to sell one please let me know. I want to say thank you to Jo, Nathan, and everyone on the team for making something like the SDFK possible.

When we rescued her 9 years ago, (10/2013), we asked the vets what they thought her mix was. A couple guessed Boxer / Staffie. Since we don't have any info to the contrary, we've kind of gone with that.

She's about 57 lbs. When we picked her up, she was only about a year old and weighed somewhere in the 40's. Now she's 10. Very strong and athletic, and a clever girl.

ETA: I'll be interested to hear what you find out about your girl from the DNA profile.
