The value of a good belt

Great responses everyone (half drunk...having flirted with some Irish gals all night (((not very succesful so I'm back here on bladeforums...)))). I do have a nylon belt that has served me well. Ironic isn't it that some of the new fangled hiking pants out these days have either no belt loops, or belt loops that are too small to accept a man's size belt.

Appreciate all the suggestions. I need to find myself some better quality leather. I will be tracking down some of those links all -thanks.
 
that slatts rescue belt guy reinvented crocheting, including the needle.
