After a year of carrying my C90P Stretch, my verdict has really changed. It seems to be the only one I carry now. About a year ago I bought this knife. See my post: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=327892
These were my first impressions. I still agree with my likes and dislikes, but the knife is awesome. It took only a short while to warm us to it, and now it is one of my top easy to carry and use favorites. :) :)
ps - I sold the Manix, and would love another Stretch as a spare.

That's the way Spydies tend to be, IMHO. At first, I think 'what the hell'....a few weeks after EDC, that knife becomes one of my favorites.

e.g.--I hated the Kiwi at first..........now it's a fav knife for the desk and dress carry.

I've loved the Stretch since the day I first handled one. If you still consider it to be a bit on the thin side for prolonged use, do consider having one customized by STR. I have "mixed feelings" in that regard. I like the feel of the thicker titanium and canvas micarta handle when I'm cutting, but I appreciate the thinner profile of my other one for the ten hours a day it's just sitting in my back pocket. :D

Recently I handled one at a local knife shop... I find it too thin. If the handle was "1 side" thicker, I would be carrying one now. It felt for me as if I only had a "frame" in my hand, and that there should still be some "slabs" added at the sides.

I do like the length, blade shape, full flat ground, but for me t he handle is too "thin".

If the perimeter of the handle did not have the chamfer all the way around, it would feel a lot thicker. That was one of my gripes. I agree, a "one side" thicker handle would also add more meat for strength as well.
