The wait.. or The Tale of the Snail Mail...

Old might not be the right word Dave; seasoned with a keen eye for the good stuff might be a better description...:D

Awaiting pics, can you hurry with the pics, did I mention we want to see some pics.

Sorry, it got away from me there for a second, pics please...:D

All in good time my young friend!! All in good time!! Remember the story about the old bull and the young bull standing on the hill... below them is a heard of heifer's.. The young bull says to the old bull "Lets run down there and make love to one of those heifer's" The old bull looks the young bull in the eye and says "Lets walk down and make love to all of them"...
And now you know the rest of the story... ;)

I know the feeling too well-glad it arrived. The 1st knife I ever bought on an exchange took 2 weeks to get from Ga. to Fl.(wasn't given any tracking and too new to know to ask for it). USPS within the country usually show up.

Thanks Peter!! as you know I personally ship anything I sell USPS Priority Mail.. regardless if the knife is worth $200.00 or $2000.00 and I do it for my own piece of mind as well as the buyers. I just want to make sure the knife arrives in a timley manner. I think it is also important that any deal.. is done as fast as possible and that both parties are satisfied not only with the knife itself but the entire experience. Yea it may cost a few bucks more than snail mail but to me its worth it. And I am sure the buyer feels the same. That being said, I honestly think that if you are going to ship a knife it's a no brainer to use the "Free" packaging that the USPS offers. And in this case I think that it was the difference in the knife arriving on time (two days) and late seven days.
All the best, Dave

While I was out today I get a missed delivery notice, jumped back in the car and found my regular postal carrier a few blocks away. Unfortunately it was a different package, he said the his supervisor had asked him about the missing one but it was handled by someone else. He did not seem too hopeful.

That doesn't sound good!! What the heck.. I have heard we cant trust the Government.. and agree but it is a little scary that you cant count on the Post Office to deliver.. fingers and toes crossed that it shows up!!
All the best, Dave

If you're ever shipping out and it doesn't fit the free boxes there SHOULD be free stickers and/or tape that say priority mail that you or the clerk can put on your box for you. Hopefully that hasn't changed, it's been a few years since I worked the window.
