Its from earlier in the series, but look at how Hollywood thinks its smart to carry your Endura. On a side note anyone know if they contacted spyderco about getting knives for the show?

Easier to deploy.. it's like end of times duuuude. They don't need to conceal anything but looove. ;]

To be fair... knives are a prominent prop on the show as they are highly capable at dispatching zombies silently... which is hugely important. Having just the pocket clip visible isn't prominent enough for the scene stylists and wardrobe. Yes... it will offend purists... but that's show biz...

Exactly. It's like when a hacker writes computer code in a movie (it isn't nearly as awesome as they make it look), or a sniper takes one of those 2 mile shots (it would actually come from nearly straight down and the the target's head would explode - they wouldn't be grabbing at a squib on their chest as they gasp and fall). Or how in a movie people will always fire a gun one handed or use a modified weaver stance (the modern isoceles is taught more widely than anything else these days - but it doesn't look nearly as cool or professional as the weaver stance). Movies are not real life, and the details will be confusing to experts more often than not. You put the knife in your pocket and it's Lori with pocket clip jewelry - you hang the knife on her pocket like that so there is no question - Lori has a knife.

Also, she is the worst character in the show. I was on the fence until that scene. Then I knew she was useless...

I've seen that a few times in public. Both times it was a Kershaw leek.

Maybe her jeans were too tight to fit it in her pocket? Either that or she's an idiot. Probably the latter....

Ya' know, now that I think about it, it's possible that some guys might be concerned about "concealed weapons" laws. I know, for example, here in Michigan, you can carry most anything (and most anywhere) so long as the item is not concealed. "Open carry" is almost unrestricted, while "concealed carry" is heavily regulated. Just a thought....

Of course, during a Zombie Apocalypse, that point becomes moot. Hehehehe....

She wasn't the worst on the show but she is/was a dumbass, but not cause of the knife. I willing to bet anything the reason she carried it like that is because womens jeans pockets are crazy shallow and pretty much useless for anything. My wife complains about it all the time.

She should clip it in her back pocket.

I want to know why, if they're in danger of being eaten by zombies, they're still running round in jeans and tee shirts.

If it were me I'd have raided the nearest bike shop for as much leather and kevlar as I could reasonably put between those zombie teeth and my tender flesh.

Then I'd get a chainsaw. :)

I've gotten so sick of the awful realism that I've quit watching the show, it's really obvious that they put no emphasis at all on any sort of realism. The gun play is some of the worst I've ever seen.

I see dudes carry their knives that way sometimes. I don't say a word to them in hopes they will lose their blade.

Eh, she was a sloot anyway. Shane FTW though. Dude got sh*t done. Probably would have /offed the gov waaaaay earlier.
