The Walking Dead returns TONIGHT!!!

It was a very good episode. I didn't like the way Caryl was treating his father but it all worked out in the end. Jennifer and I were texting back and forth the whole time, "IS RICK DEAD?!?!" "OH MY GOSH RICK DIED!" They definitely has us fooled and we were completely exhausted by the end LOL

I suspect that the next couple of episodes will be "character development", then finally a reunion. I'm waiting for them to bring Carol back; maybe she will rescue one of them and win her way back into their hearts.;)

This episode was based off comic issue 49&50. Pretty much spot on. Except in the comic it wasn't hershal's head michonne stabbed. .. the episode was a real eye opener for carl. He realizes he isn't the man he thought he was.

Enough Carl. Bring back Daryl.

Having kids of my own I cant imagine rooting for a child to not make it but sometimes Carl is really close to his end and I catch myself wondering if I would miss him much. Really enjoyed watching reality catch up with him.

I did enjoy getting some back story on Michonne though. She makes a little more sense to me know.

Yea I noticed that even the dialogue between Carl/Rick and Carl/Zombies Outside was basically word-for-word... Although if I recall correctly Michonne's backstory about her relationship with her boyfriend/his friend (the "pets") was different, that they were abusive towards her.

And yea I think Carl is being a turd. He's a totally badass 7-8 year old in the comic, but in the show he's a whiny teenage brat.

Lol! I was so pumped for this episode since it was written by creator Robert Kirkman and directed by the SFX guy Nicotero. First the Super Bowl, now the Walking Dead...let down two Sundays in a row

Hopefully the next episode centers around some of the others. I am also hoping Carol ends up back in the fold.

I have a hunch that since they are all spread out and such, Carol will come back into the group before the season is over. I think it would be a neat idea for them all to take up refuge in a neighborhood, similar to Woodbury. That a great idea for a zombie apocalypse.

In the comics they actually encounter a couple more communities (Alexandria, Hilltop, and The Saviors) which would be aa great story!

So glad they are out of the prison and back to scavenging for a living. The prison was way too cushy.

+1 on the earlier comments about fast zombies. They need to give the zombies a bit of caffeine to make them faster and dangerous again. If there are not 100+ zombies it is not even a fair fight. You should at least have to jog every once in awhile to get away from the pack. :p

I hoping that the next group they come across will be The Hunters.----although I know (just like Judith) they can't include all the details on a cable tv show....and a lot of the main characters in that little stretch aren't even on the show at this point.

Oh yea, and Rick picks up the hatchet! I hope he starts to use it a lot like in the comics.

Yes thats the part of the show I fell in love with being on the move and surviving.

And everytime I see Michonne wielding that sword it makes me crave a Butaniku or at least an AK47

I have no desire to play with those freaky fast, super humanlike zombies. The walkers though, that would just be fun. The older I get the less I am interested in a fair fight.
And I dang sure dont want to have to jog.

So I am done with Carl. As a little kid he was annoying, but now that he trying to act...he can't. I am also excited to see Abraham and his crew in the series. For those that have read the comic, er...Graphic Novel, then you know what an great story line we may have coming. Unless the writers and producers screw it up, which would be impossible right?

Remember, Carl needs to go!

I was wondering what happened to all TWD talk around here.
Glad they are out of the prison and I agree about Carl not being much of an actor.I was really happy to see Carol back.
Anyone care to guess if one of the new groups will be the spin off of the show?
