The Walking Dead season 6 *spoiler alert* Read at own risk!

Ok, spoiler ahead so read at your own risk...

from what I figure, somehow Glen will survive...but he will die later this season at the hand of the "wolves" a particular one at that. This, plus the loss of his hand, will drive rick over the edge, this will spark all out war between the two groups.

Why will rick lose his hand ? Looks like he only cut it on that knife stuck in the zed

Comic storyline. They are still following it loosely, but there are several plot points they remain true to, an if I remember correctly, he does lose it in the comic

He does, albeit far earlier than this. He loses it when the Governor first takes them hostage, he's the one who chops it off. I normally avoid posting spoilers (so even with spoiler alerts, I won't ever reveal anything huge ITT), but this is a minor one and it happens really early on. Not sure if they'll go through with it in the show, logistically that's a lot of CGI they'd have to do, otherwise he'd end up looking like Chubbs in Happy Gilmore.

Okay, as far as Glenn goes, I think he lives. Everyone else who died was on talking dead so I think its a very good deception. Since the show is loosely based from the comics, wouldn't be surprised to see that the group thinks Glenn is dead and somehow returns to save the day. Wouldn't be as good as Carol cuz she is just a true bad a$$ as of late. As far as Rick goes, he hasn't chopped his hand off yet, and if was to be infected then he would of done it right away like they did with Hershel's leg, but it doesn't mean it won't happen due to the fact he could get an infection and the only thing left is amputation. I dont think Morgan is crazy, I think he is starting to realize that the right thing to do is a thing of the past and whatever needs to be done to survive will be done. Rick went through the same phase in season 2. He couldn't kill that kid and Shane was all about killing that kid. I do however Morgan takes the role to keep morale in the group, similar role to what Dale and Hershel had. This season has had a very intense start. Im really excited to see where the writers are taking the group and how the huge zombie horde will be dealt with. I dont think just burning them would work. I think they should of utilized that canyon or whatever that was and they should used some explosives and buried them things in tons of rock and dirt. But thats what makes the show interesting. :) As for the knife that would be awesome to see on the show would be a Tops Armageddon. I think its very appropriate since this apocalypse can be related to the Armageddon described in the bible, loosely anyway. I also think it should be Abraham wielding that thing, Carol can use the Busse knife as she seems pretty good at making executions and stealthy kills. I think Rick can be the one using a machete along with his six shooter. With Michone using the Katana, it'll definitely be bloody!

I take it you really like the show?

Oh, I was a HUGE fan of TWD, right up through last season, although I started to have my doubts at times (Glen getting shot, then saving the guy that shot him). And really looking forward to each episode this season, up until, I guess actually, the last episode. And the previews of the next one. I think I remember a lot of talk before this season started that there would be an overload of zombie action this season. IMO, 4 episodes examining the same zombie herd from multiple perspectives is not a lot of zombie action. It comes across as laziness on the part of the writer(s). It seems to me that the writers have run out of ideas, so they're revolving around one herd for as long as they can play it.

I got largely fed up with the Glen character when Nicolas(???) actually shot him, planning to leave him to die, and he took him back into Alexandria. Although, come to think of it, has the show EVER shown Glen take down anybody that isn't a zombie? I can't recall a single time.

And even the Darryl character seems to have lost his way. Heck, he seemed 'harder' when he was traveling alone with Beth than he does now.

I want Daryl to hook up with Maggie...and then Carol finds out...
.....and then Glenn shows up and we have the Shane/Rick thing all over again.

Yeah, that's the last thing this show needs. I think I wasn't the only one that started thinking THAT got over-used.

I will be disappointed if Glen isn't dead. Not because I wanted him to die, but I can only suspend disbelief to a certain point before the show becomes too ridiculous to even watch. I don't care if he landed under Nicholas's body, there's no way he should be able to come out of that alive, sorry. That many walkers on top of you would rip you apart in seconds.

If he can get under that dumpster and puncture the skulls of the first few that come after him he should be able to dam himself under there. Once the others are done eating, they'll forget all about him and wander off.

Unless... Rick quickly arrives with the RV, starts blowing the horn, firing his weapon, and draws the zombies away from Glen - right at the last minute! Remember those movie serials from the 1940's. Sheesh! Guess it could happen...;-)

He could also get in the dumpster somehow, but I do believe Rick will save the day and Glen will cut Ricks hand off

Do dumpsters even have enough clearance to squeeze under? I suppose maybe if it had wheels, but then if it had wheels it would easily move around with that many walkers. I don't know, I'm just not buying it.

Does he lose a hand in the graphic novel? Would be a pretty dramatic plot change if he didn't...
Im in the camp that thinks he didn't die,,, dumpster diving or not..

Yes, the Governor chops it off. So they've already split from the comics pretty significantly on that front.

Every time I see this thread on the old "what's new" I gotta scroll past it quick. Lost my cable and haven't seen any of them yet. Need to get on that.
