The Walking Dead season 6 *spoiler alert* Read at own risk!

Should've just trenched out the road behind the big rig before it fell into the quarry and backed another truck between the other two at the bottom. They had a perfect walker trap and now they just took the bait out of it.

My biggest issue was with Morgan and Michonne giving Rick disapproving looks. The guy clearly had half his face bitten off, Rick didn't just kill him outright.

So frustrating.

The quarry seems to have been an after thought to the movie.
That the natives in Alexandria never mentioned it before or weren't aware of it seems not plausible and that Rick and his crew didn't discover this big of a threat so close to the settlement is just highly unlikely.
The writers probably added it after feedback, for the previous season, asked for more zombies.

I noticed that too and was like, WTF? What else was Rick supposed to do under the circumstances? I can see those two openly opposing Rick and you don't want to do that especially if Carol catches wind of it. I believe she has hitched her wagon to Rick's at least as long as he's focused on the groups survival and any threat to Rick is a threat to the group.

Yes, some quirks in any art form. Pit would have been a perfect oven. Get a few flaming, and it would have spread like a wild zombie fire. Have to wait to see were they are being led. Overall, a much better season opener than last year...;-)

Zs should be highly combustible. Never see them drinking any water. Just dried out protein, sugars and fat.

i agree with the idea of setting them ablaze in the quarry - a few molotov cocktails would have taken care of that for sure... actually thats what i yelled at the screen... why dont you just burn them all? :D

For the sake of show drama home sweet home needs to crumble in every season...this one had too few zombies to educate those within the walls so a mass of evil had to be explained. Then the horn disruption provides a way to elimate the cozy situation.

Rig up a front end loader with a little armor, drive into the quarry and spray them all down with diesel, oil, old cooking grease or whatever. Then pull out and fire a few flares in. Problem solved and you still have a walker trap.

That sounds doable.
If I had a choice though then a few minutes with a mine clearing flail tank would be interesting.

No ammo shortage and maximum efficiency at short range. Since walkers don't shoot back the range limitation shouldn't matter at all.

I just saw the team Gemini on the talking dead special where they are taking about filming in the quarry. Daryl drives up on the bike. I saw the double talon and three handle fasteners...

That's a GREAT idea! You wouldn't even need to drive it, just turn it on and let them walk into it since they are attracted to noise and movement.

I just saw that too. Something still didn't look quite right about it. The handle color looked darker and (to my eye) it still has that flat look of the imposter blade from last season. Like maybe they just painted the scales.

The season premiere made Fear the Walking Dead appear even more boring than I originally thought. Great first episode!!

Yes.... I was much happier being back in the groove with the REAL TWD last night !!!!! Despite being crook as buggery I still enjoyed it greatly and managed to shout at the TV several times (then went back to feeling ill). I like the balance that Morgan has brought to Rick, he is behaving less like a psychotic (thought still doing what was needed) and more considered in his decisions/actions. That is important as he now has a new bunch of people to manage.

For last night's viewing I had my MMD close at hand... ;)

Morgan does seem to be playing the part of Rick's humanity which arrived just in time to possibly prevent him from alienating himself further.

"Crook as buggery". This a way of saying you were really sick I take it?
