The Walking Dead season 6 *spoiler alert* Read at own risk!

Cool. I have one just like that.

But in the Zombie Apocalypse, I want that TG/Gladius hybrid. The BOSC ID is nice, but too small.

I used to have several like it ;)
Now down to just a couple.

Glad you still have yours. I was just thinking about emailing you a few days ago to see if you wanted to sell it.

:D:D

I agree that this was the best episode in a long time if not the best one ever! Sorry to see Jesse die, but happy her idiot kids are gone. And very glad to see the "brain" and the priest finally stepped up a got with the program! Loved Daryl and the RPG at the beginning. Too bad all the bikes were destroyed. I love to see him get a Harley to ride!

I can't remember, when did Daryls Triumph get left behind? When the prison got overran? They need to rescue that bike. I'm not digging this one he has now.

I think I actually yelled Hell Yeah at the TV when Beast Mode Rick decided to show up. Some of the best action of the entire show.........
Heck yeah. It was like when Rick found out Lorrie died and he decided to clean the prison out all by himself. When he's mad, he don't play.

When last season ended with the bikes stopping the tanker I was screaming "where is that %$#*ing RPG" ... or why did they even stop and not just plow through them. As soon as the "wooosh bang" happened I said.... "ahhhhh RPG".

Yes it was a great episode, lots of chickens coming home to roost all at once...!!! I still think Morgan should have caught a stray round in the back of the head before the episode ended though.

Best thing about the episode: realistic RPG. Like friggin' lightning. Most satisfying moment of the entire series.

You know, I was wondering about that....was that an accurate representation of a soft target explosion and the effect area? I've only seen them blow on vehicles on a range; so I can't say.

I was talking more about the speed. Any other representation of an RPG in film, it moves practically in slow motion, even at short range. Right? Which isn't realistic. In actuality, it moves so fast to barely see it. As for the effect on a soft target, I can barely imagine. It is designed as a HE AT weapon, right?

I'd say probably pretty accurate. I would venture a guess that Abraham and Sasha would have sustained some injuries at least, due to proximity

I would assume moderate to high risk of over-pressure/blast injury - (TBI, detached retinas, soft tissue/organ/lung damage etc.), flash burn, ruptured ear drums, and 'shrapnel' injuries due to pieces of bike and biker although most of the effect would have been directed away from 'our people'.

Yeah, I'm not sure how big a blast area an rpg would have. some of the compressive forces would (as I understand) be mitigated by items between the impact area, and the good Guys, as well as distance from the impact area as well. We don't know if the impact was centered on the biker gang or not, and I would figure if the group as 15 to 20 yards across, the impact could vary by several yards. On a weapon that size I would think a few yards might make a lot of difference.

It's all conjecture anyway, as it was the best thing on the show in forever

My thoughts exactly. It's definitely getting better. Although I'd say it's so easy to predict what's going to happen and I didn't read any of the comics. I miss the director/producer from season one. They keep changing the showrunners almost every season.

They show definitely needs a weapons expert. Safeties on glocks..... (rolling eyes). One eyed guy aiming with his blindfolded eye. Walkers are so rotted that you can rip their face off but Daryl can use one as a bullet shield against rifle rounds....5.56 rounds...which the military has reported many times about having problems with stopping power. Mainly the rounds pass right through (a live healthy non rotting human) and don't stop the enemy. Lacking knock down power. They requested a new round. That's why we have the 6.8 round. However it's too expensive to switch all weapons to it. There are way too many 5.56 rifles in use.

Also Daryl same episode using a filing cabinet to stop rifle rounds.

So many gun issues. Rpg too. That rpg would of did some serious internal damage from the concussion/energy wave from that blast.

I try my best not to think while watching the show. Too many things wrong with it that make me enjoy it less when I really think about it.

Like rpg is a awesome and rare weapon. You just poured a ton of precious fuel into a very useful and usable water source to then waste a rpg on it to ignite it. Why not light a match and fire a few rounds to make noise to attract the walkers... total waste of fuel, water, and rpg.

I think when you're overrun with walkers you figure to hell with the water and saving an rpg round. Handle the situation and do it quickly before more of your people get hurt.
