The Walking Dead season 6 *spoiler alert* Read at own risk!

If there's no Daryl, they should just all quit. Him and Morgan are the only remaining dynamic characters.

I'm sorry, but Morgan doesn't seem to be very dynamic to me. That all life is precious crap is (almost has) gunna get him and others killed. He should have killed the wolf dude first scene in the woods. Then Denise wouldn't have gotten captured to begin with.
The Daryl situation last night.....well sadly I think it was the other guy blowing Rositas brains out and all over Daryl and Dwight. Either way, someone dies at the hands of Lucille and my guess is Daryl. He did blow those guys up with the R.P.G. and the Saviors know it was him. Abraham made the worse mistake of all IMO....leaving hottie Rosita for Sasha
....wth?

I don't like the Morgan character. IMO he got Eastman killed and he will get others killed with his "all life is precious ideology"

Was thinking the same thing. Can't believe Abraham skipped out on Rosita and that she may have just gotten killed. I do kinda think Dwight put one in Daryls shoulder though, or maybe the side of his face to purposfully disfigured him. We haven't caught the back story on Dwight's face but he sure seems to have a lot of hate for Daryl even though he went out of his way to help him and his girl. I wonder if he was hiding in the bushes when Daryl lit up the bikers with the RPG. Maybe he was planning on helping Daryl right before it happened? The blast would explain his burnt face, and if his girl got killed it would really explain why he has such a chip on his shoulder.

Nevermind not gonna spoil it for yall

How does Daryl go from being the group tracker, bad ass, survivor dude to being the guy that gets caught by someone in every episode?

Daryl was based off the Dwight character in the book. This "showdown" if you want to call it that is the original character (dwight) vs the t.v. counterpart Daryl.

Morgan is the new father Gabrielle , IMHO he's not worth meeting lucille because people could care less if he dies or not, unless he becomes a hero 5 minutes into the finale to change everyone's mind.

I like Morgan just because he still has room to change. His character is played by a weak actor IMO. Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, Rick, Rosita, Abraham, heck, all of the others. There's nothing else for them to do. They're all magnificent killers, I like them but they seem to be set. The only possibility for them to keep evolving is to tone it down. If they get any harder they'll be no better than the dead IMO.

Static characters need a great plot to move things along, I'd hate to see the ever changing characters in this show get stale.

Oh come ON! Spoil it. That's what this thread is for! :D

*spoiler alert* don't click down if you don't want to know about the face burns.

Negan has many wives. He's a lot of things but Negan does have some morals he's against rape ,but he treats his wives in this weird way. If they choose to be with him he keeps them in sexy lingerie etc.

If they commit adultery the woman are faced with 2 choices they can stay with negan or be banished forever. The men however get a hot iron to the face. He also burns faces of male rule breakers of the saviors as well.

Read an article with a plausable explanation for all the 'how did they let _____ sneak up on them?' (other than they were too busy arguing to pay attention).
With all the gunfire and no hearing protection, they may well be going deaf. Easier to sneak up on the hard of hearing and the pre-occupied than those with good hearing and that are paying attention to the potential for danger around them. They do seem to let themselves get distracted at very bad times and often survive only with luck. YMMV

Daryl and crew are starting to remind me of the old Indian guy in the Outlaw Josey Wales. "I'm an Indian, all right; but here in the nation they call us the "civilized tribe". They call us "civilized" because we're easy to sneak up on. White men have been sneaking up on us for years.". :highly_amused:

The writing this season has been horrible. Remember that episode in season 5 the we are the walking dead one where aAron first showed up? Yea I thought that was the boring episode ,well it still is but they are milking this story line.

They built up no way out so long ,and it was good but the whole chop chop....Dad scene should of been the MSF in my opinion not drag it out any longer just to time jump those couple of months.

Now my gut is telling me they are going to butcher what makes the coming of negan so memorable. I mean I watch this show and have since the beginning . Never read the books but I frequent the spoiler forums and in general the fans are getting a little bored. Especially with this finale

Oh the point of that rant was to say they make up for slow writing with cliff hangers and the barrels of guns coming out of nowhere on your screen .

Criticizing the writing of a thing with barely comprehensible structure is a fine exercise in irony.

IMO

Your probably right. Wasnt bashing the show , I love it . Just saying they have so much source material to pull from instead of being so slow.

Also I'm on a cellphone , with a 2 year old running around screaming and a wife about to burn the house down with her cooking so I just type when I can . Don't have time to be perfect and all that.
