The way of things

Jeff, bloody impressive post! nothing more needs to be said on the EESE warranty or service. Thank you!

Hey it does not sound like my post was taken wrong, but hopefully it wasn't. I was rushing here to get it in and do not believe that I articulated it fully. I agree you shouldn't bad mouth anyone, and this company does not. Like RAT said "I firmly believe that we live and die by our own merit, and to have to say negative things against anyone to make ourselves look better simply means we have a total lack of confidence in our own ability." R.A.T. I firmly believe this and will support anyone who does. I don't care how "GOOD" you think you are there is always somebody who can and will punch your ticket! Be Humble and live in the knowledge of your ability and pray that it is enough when the situation arrises that you need to prove how good you are. Truely the people who are in charge have some life experience and are comfortable in their own skin to not feel the need to dosrespect anyone else or their product, very cool. RAT I would love to be able to make that statement about having the first pocket knife my grandfather gave me! Wow thats cool congrats. I assure you that if you guys keep things the way they are I will be here to support you and your company and my son will also! Again thanks for helping me with my Legacy with my son. I will be proud to pass Your Blade to Him!!!!!!!

I appreciate the post. I've just learned to do my own thing in life, reagrdless of what others may do or say. I firmly believe that we live and die by our own merit, and to have to say negative things against anyone to make ourselves look better simply means we have a total lack of confidence in our own ability. I KNOW our knives are good. I KNOW our training is sound. I KNOW our warranty and customer service is top-notch, but that doesn't mean someone else's is not. I could CARE LESS what the "competition" does or what they may say since we do what we do because it's what we want to do and how we want to live. We're not trying to conform to the industry. On that same note, I could give the first shit whether anyone likes me personally or not, or whether they like our knives. We do what we do based on our experiences. Sometimes we go outside the box and do things or say things that many believe are not in the "spirit of the industry." But honestly speaking, I don't give a damn. The ONLY thing that's important to me is knowing that the end user got what we promised. If our knife does not compare to someone else's, or not "as good", then it's not because we lied to a customer and told them it was. As RYP said in another post, "under promise and over deliver." I have followed that rule most of my life and learned it's a damn good way to live. People get way to wound up on what someone else is doing or thinking. Until they put a gun to my head or knock on my door with a subpoena, none of it matters...it's all just words.

You stay classy Jeff Randall... :)

Well I think my point has been missed somewhat. I was trying to point out the fact that sometimes we as members sometimes say that ESEE knives are "Superior" to (insert brand here). I am guilty of this. What I wanted to say was, we as members of this forum should follow the example that Jeff tries to set for us and not become critical of other brands or styles. Do your own thing and STFU :)

my dad always told me "let someone else praise ya"

General Powell isn't gonna say the Rangers are tougher or better than the Seals... not now...and not in public....but I've been around him when he was just a light bird, and in some really good bar fights before because we thought we were! :)

so "we" who love the ESEE brand - we stand and cheer. I've got my reasons why I think they ARE better...but as always...to each their own. Jeff's taking the right way for him and company, of course.

This is an ESEE fan club and people are here because in their opinion ESEE knives offer advantages at this price point. Comparisons to other knives is natural. It really is all in fun. All knives have loyal users, most here are very open minded. You should visit the Busse site, I came away thinking he had invented the light sabre.

LOL Knifeability, that's a good one. Yeah well the thing that sparked this whole thing off for me was the fact that I said something in a thread that put "Ontario" down and Jeff jumped on it immediately. It got me thinking and out came this thread. Personally I think ESEE knives ARE the best for the money, but I don't have to brag about it :)
