The weather is nice here today...

I returned to gun-lovin' California safely last night. It is a 1,372-mile drive from my parents' home in Hot Springs South Dakota to my home in San Jose, CA. I started at 2:15AM, and rolled into my driveway at 9:05PM. Just under 19 hours of actual drive time. I made three stops for gas (and other things): Rawlins, WY; SLC, UT; and Lovelock, NV.

It was a great trip, a great visit with my parents, and a great hunt, but it is also good to be home.

Oh yeah......another 71 were dispatched this afternoon....the total, as Ken stated, is now 264.

I killed 6 on 2 shots today.....back to back triples!

.204 Ruger is the bomb.....literally. :D

The Cooper MTV Model 21 is just an incredible piece of working art. This one has sent over 500 prairie dogs to their grave....and it just keeps shooting like a laser.

This is a damn fine rig. I salute you, sirs!

The best part is that BrainOnSigs' rifle shoots as good as it looks.:thumbup:

Wow... Great Pics, sounds like you had a blast (literally and figuratively!) Spending time with your parents is important, and some of the most cherised memories I have with my Dad were when we were out hunting.

Thanks for posting these!
