The Weekend Knife Noob GAW

Hi guys,

Not sure how this will work out but let's give it a try.

Rules for this GAW are:

CONUS entries only please.

Must have either:

a. been a member for one year or less (registered September 2015 or later).
b. Have only 5 knives or less in your collection

One need only meet one of the two requirements, but no bonuses for meeting both, sorry. ;)

GAW is intended to give newbies to the hobby a few extra blades for their collection.

Your post is your entry unless otherwise stated, and contest will run until 12pm CST Monday, at which point I'll choose a winner via random number generator, will likely ship Tuesday pending shipping details.

This is a bundle GAW that includes:

Gerber F.A.S.T. plain edge
Gerber Freeman folder, nylon belt pouch included
Kershaw Oso Sweet folder
CRKT Falcon folder, partially-serrated
CRKT Hissatsu folder, assisted opening not working, but works as a manual knife and assist can likely be fixed or replaced

Winner gets the bundle o' knives.

Obviously I have no idea if you really have 5 knives or less in your collection, so it'll be the honor system, hopefully I'll really help out a newcomer.

If this doesn't really go as planned, we'll think of some other way to help a newbie.

The generosity of members of this forum continues to amaze me! That being said, I live in Canada so count me out (unfortunately).

Happy to see these kind of threads and honestly feel a little selfish entering the contest. Since I fit both of the requirements I feel like I can somewhat justify it. Thanks for the generosity RedLynx. The knife community is lucky to have you.

Sorry to hear that my friend. I'd like to extend the contest to Canada but I can never be sure how customs will work and I'd hate for you to win only to lose out on free blades at the border. :/
 
Sorry we're a few hours late guys, the day got away from me a bit. Took a few tries as we have a small number pool and some of the posts are not entries, but post #10 is our winner.
