The wife thinks my knives are silly!

Wow,.. I married a great gal, she loves my knife collection and is always getting me knives from my "official wish list". She did claim one of my best guns though and I've never got it back. Sigh...

LOL...too funny! I just got the standard "don't you have ENOUGH knives" statement today after buying another one!

ENOUGH knives:rolleyes:...hahhaha ya right!!!

When I first started going with my fiancee 5 years ago, she thought that I had too many knives. Then the other week she called me laughing -- a friend of hers asked her why SHE was carrying two pocket knives.

It started out that she liked my CRKT KISS-- it was easy and simple to open, so I gave it to her. She now wears it clipped to her clothes at work (she manages a tanning salon.

Whew,

Glad I don't have thos issue.

My wife bought me a 1st gen SnG as an engagement gift.

The list of knive she has bought me since is impressive.

She usually carries a Damascus Scallion, Small Sebenza, or UTX70

my wife doesnt mind my knives so much, she does however hate my addiction to fast cars...

Its better then my Girlfriend. She thinks all my knives look exactly the same. I can't complain since she has bought me over half my collection.

HAIL NAH I make my wife agree to how bad ass my knives are. I show her why they are good.

Ex. she was content with the cheap $50 kitchen knife set that wouldn't hold an edge. I took her to the store and made her hold the Ken Onion Shun 8" Chef and we left the store with it. :)

Mine is actually pretty cool about the whole thing. It was her idea that I get into selling and repairing knives. She told me a few years ago, "Look, you love knives, you collect them, you can sharpen and fix them, why are you not starting your own business with knives?"

She's a good one:thumbup:

I recently got my girlfriend to acknowledge how crazy it is that she has $200-$300 jeans, $400+ purses, etc and that she was in no position to think anything about my knives. I said "At least I can carry my $500+ knife everyday. I'd like to see you not change your jeans for 2 weeks." No good response to that. Take that women!!!

I got the same thing going on. She is just as excited as I am to open that Express Mail package. I got us a set of first production run UT6's for our engagement knives.

I also gave her a Ontario/Hossom Retribution (smaller) 2. I'm getting a Retribution (larger) 1 for myself. She wants hers waved, handles thinned, and a pocket clip attatched. Girl of my dreams.

My X wife did not like my knives, but did not give me too much trouble about them. One of my last girl friends bought me five knives as gifts including a Willam Henry and a custom folder, but she was too possessive! I also dated one hot young Russian girl from Brooklyn after I was divorced, and she loved knives totally, but she also had a bad side to her that was not over taken by her love for knives, so for now it is me. my son, dog, cat and many, many knives!
