For this new design I wanted to take the lines from some of my favorite big fighters and mix that with my favorite small knife. The Loveless NYS.
What I ended up with was this compact little powerhouse I call my "Wingman" pocket fighter.
These first couple I did in CPM 3v at 62rc. I do my own heat treat on these, which includes proper LN Cryo and a low temp temper (thanks to Nathan Carothers and Dan Keffeler for HT pointers). I blasted the green micarta on this one and then tumbled the whole thing for an nice grippy feel. This also give the copper pins a cool look.
I hand stitched the leather cross draw sheaths to wrap up the package.

Here are the specs

OAL - 7 1/4"
Blade - 3 3/16"
Steel - CPM 3v at 62rc
Handle - Green micarta. Blasted and tumbled for a nice grippy feel. The liners are pinstripe orange G10
Pins - copper
Sheath - Hand stitched veg tan leather. Cross draw, ambidextrous.
Price - SOLD $450 + $8 Priority Insured shipping
Paypal or postal money order preferred.

Ben,
Really nice work on this one. Design, 3V steel, grinds, materials, sheath... the whole package is just great.
Admire your work.

I'm not into fighters, but that's a sweet knife: colors, lines, steel and HT. And it looks like it will make a great utility knife also.

Thanks for the comments guys. This one really melts in your hand, and is very comfortable in a number of grips. The harpoon actually works very nicely for a thumb ramp which adds a lot of control for the needle sharp point.
