I'm not a fan of the way those knives look. I don't like the shape of the handle and the blade profile.
 
I've got about all I ever wanted of basic Busse blades; there are a few I want to add to the collection:
1.a canvas handled meaner street for usage
2.my old A2 Steel badger attack i traded off when I was a "young hog" and did not know any better. It felt so good in the hand, I miss it
3. a Solid Bolt .22 saber grind, Orange/black hand smoothed G10 SJTAC
4. Black/orange hand smoothed G10 Satin Boss Street
5. a simple mag canvas handled BATAC .27 thick
6. a NMFBM with DC finish blade and Orange/black handsmoothed G10... Had one in my hand one time at KC, and laid it back down for a OD blade on OD handled one due to cost difference.... wish I would have got it.
PLUS>>> JERRY to come out with an ASHII one day to go with the ASHI then an Anniversary Badger attack... I honestly like the new meaner streets better than the old mean street I had.

I am waiting on the CABS to ship. I know it is no BAIII, but it has a great handle, no choil, and thin blade. The BAIII blade shape is better to my eye.

I had an Ash1, which I sold. I now have a Sarsquatch, which I convexed, and it is a great mid sized user so far. Love it.

As to the GW, I sold mine to a great fellow in Australia.

I figured it was close enough in size to the BAD, that I could use the money elsewhere. Between the BAD and CABS I think I have my small infi needs covered.

I have a KZII with a convex edge for just plain destroying things. I sold my FBMLE that was modded, since I had the KZII and the B11.


Now, as to the folder.............................I'm still waiting.

I like the basic series a lot...:thumbup:


Man I'm getting old I forgot that I had two Basic 4s :o

The Boss Street looks like it could be a great substitute for the BA-III. I don't have a B-11 but the B-9 is very close to a SHBM but just a bit light in the handle. The stripped B-5 in the photo is another great user.

One I forgot is the Mean Street below. They are just slightly larger than the AD, and that RAT is a great one around water as it is stainless:thumbup:






This 1-300 is my user SHBM which is why I know that the clip doesn't exactly help when you want to split wood:grumpy: It was Cobalt's at one time so I'll probably never sell it.




This Little Ugly was Skunks at one time so it may never get sold as well. Mostly because I bring it with me when I go see him just to torment him :D :thumbup:
