The Woman of My Life

Jim, I am so sorry to hear about Margo passing away. My thoughts will be with you and your family.

Smoke and song will also be going out from my shop today in memory.

Peace my friend

Jim, I just saw this and am so sorry! It is obvious from your posts how much your wife ment to you and those you both loved. Hold her memories close to you, to comfort you, she is still with you, looking over you. You are in my prayers.

Jim,

The words and feelings you have shared about your wife are the finest tribute anyone could give.

You have been in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be.

Jim,
I just saw this thread after hearing about it from Dustin Golat tonight. I looked back at the dates. This happened the very next day after I had visited you and your wife. I'm very saddened by your loss. I feel I was given a gift of getting to meet your wonderful wife. My prayers go out to you and all those that knew the two of you. If you need anything, just give me a call, and I'll find a way to get up there and help you out, or just to listen as a reminder that I consider you a friend.

I want to thank everyone here for their support and kind words. Margo was a special woman and not just to me.

Scott, yes, it was the very next day. I called her at my first break and at lunch and everything was fine then. My sister who is an LPN was watching her during the day and it all happened very suddenly and quickly. In a way it was a bit of a blessing as this type of cancer would have eventually robbed her of her mind and herself. She went through the radiation/chemo to gain some time. I was getting sa loan on the house the next day and had offered her anything or a trip anywhere she wanted to go. All she wanted was to go back to Montana one last time. She got screwed out of that too. She never once complained. The closest she came was once I said I was so sorry she had to go through all this and she said yea, it sucks. But, now she can go and do as she pleases. I am sure she will get the best on the other side. Jim
