wow! :)

The Holly is spectacular. Your scan was large ( good size ) for that one. Then the scans got smaller from the Jordan to the Cattaraugus. Your knives deserve as many pixels as we can get!! I want to feast my eyes on those beauties. Thank you for sharing your magnificent collection.

My AG Russell Pinched Peanut came yesterday and I love the knife but this one has to go back for replacement, the clip blade sits against and rubs against the inner liner :( The Wharncliffe is perfect though, I wish other companies would add a secondary Wharncliffe instead of a pen blade in their Peanut models, like the Case Tiny Wharncliffe Trapper.

Ach, so close and yet so far! You were even holding it in your hands (unlike tuition or a school year ;)).

I hope you receive a worthy exchange in short order.

Going to take it campin'? Heh.

Agreed, although I find myself considering the wharncliffe in my Tiny Trapper to be its main, due to its length but maybe more because it's both more visible and easier to access-- the strong line of the wharncliffe's spine spans the length, while the turkish clip slinks forward from the half-way point. I'm especially glad the wharncliffe is so long with this one; Case sure did put the Tiny into Trapper.

I look forward to seeing your peanut when yours finally arrives.

You stated in a couple of posts recently that you were waiting for something to arrive. I was pretty sure it was a Pinched Peanut because you have mentioned several times how much you wanted one.

Sorry to hear this bad news. I know that you know that A.G. will make it right but still..........

Looking forward to your thoughts about the knife once you get this all straightened out.

My favorite knife, Kerry Hampton's Tennessee Jack, Lanny's clip main blade and wharncliff secondary,

fabulous design and beautiful execution!

This knife is now in New York City Jorge Garcia bought it from the lady who purchased it from me. Mr Garcia now has three of my knives, two SB and a Lanney's Clip.

That's a beautiful knife Beryl. Very well made and my favourite colour too.

Thanks especially for this one, Doug:

Going by the knife's name and a guess as its size in isolated pictures, there's no way I would have imagined that the Queen Half Whittler was such a wee svelte thing. Beautiful lil' knife.

Here's a couple more for the collection. This shows the AG Russell with a Case SBJ.

Hah! You better believe it's going camping when it arrives! In my watch pocket of course, so there will be no squabbling involved with any other knives in my other pockets. The watch pocket in jeans just seems to be the perfect place for a Peanut...and the Case Tiny Trapper too :D

One of the things that attracts me to A.G. Russell is their guarantee, and all the positive customer service stories I've read here. My AGR Wharncliffe Curved Jack is a fantastic knife, and the Peanut was even nicer in construction, both blades in the Peanut are slicers, they are very thin grinds and when I did a paper cut test it was like butter.

Speaking of tuition, I was looking at the bill today...my knife purchases may be curtailed a bit for a year, unless of course I start selling some watches!

I am sure I'll see a replacement soon, though I have to admit that for about 5 seconds I was thinking about a refund and putting the $ towards a GEC Montana Whittler. I've wanted the Peanut for so long though, and it's such a nice knife that I just couldn't do it. The Whittler will have to wait until next month. By then GEC will probably have their new jack ready too. All these companies conspiring to get their hands on my paycheck, but what's a guy to do... ;)
