Around here woodchucks are un-welcomed visitors that are quickly dispatched, or a derogatory term for local residence in my rural county.

Nothing says dead woodchuck like a .22 hollow point.

You think woodchucks are a problem? I have a bobcat eating my chickens. It's gotten 4 so far, which means I'm down to 2. It jumps my 36" electric fence, grabs one and jumps out. All that remains is a pile of feathers. I would like to see the knife, though.

Why? Slow cooked with some roots, vegetables, and seasonings, they're pretty tasty

Edit: The why was to the unwelcome part, I understand dispatching would precede the cooking

Sorry about your chickens, but I still love bobcats. Can't bring myself to shoot them even when they have been killing livestock (mostly sheep around our farm)
