I have all of the Weyer books as well as "The World of Custom Knives."
The Weyer books are surveys of the custom knife world, whereas TWOCK is an overview of five collectors collections. They tend to be much narrower in scope than the Weyer books, with a heavy emphasis on pieces by a small group of makers like Wolfgang Loerchner, Ron Lake, Michael Walker, and so on. Since I like all of these makers a ton, it's nice to see a wider selection of a narrower group.
There's also a new folder book that is coming out that looks very exciting called "Art and Design in Modern Custom Folding Knives". It was written by David Darom, and the entire 2500 copy first edition was purchased by Paolo Saviolo, who is reselling it for $65 starting at the recently completed ECCKS. It also looks like Tim Herman and Steve Lindsay will also be distributing it now. The following is from a post from Tim Herman:
"I will be distributing the book from my website, Steve Lindsay's site, and a few others. The book is $65 and as soon as I ship a few tomorrow and get the shipping cost per book I will post that and you can order them from me and send a money order for the cost plus shipping. If you send a check I will send the book out when it clears.
