Sorry for the necro-thread, but I was thinking about this knife recently, and thought that the new HOGs would enjoy this amazing story and very cool piece of Busse history.

The 2nd post has the link to the original story of how the Wounded Badger came to be. Leave it to a Busse to turn a bullet:cool::thumbup:

I wish I had been into Busses back when HRK had it. Would love to have seen it and heck maybe I could have talked him out of it. But I know who he traded it to and for what and he was really wanting those one of thirteens at the time.

A very cool knife with a very cool backstory.

It's nice to know it's in the original owners hand again.
Bob

Thanks for that input Bob
I didn't know it had gone full circle, but it good to know it's back where it belongs.
That's definitely an heirloom with one helluva back story
Cheers

Wow amazing story. What a fitting name for the blade too. Really making me want some infi...

Not only good to know the knife is where it belongs, but also that some "old guys" are still kickin'! (and you all know who you are!)
