I posted about seeing this at a gun show a little time ago. Some people, for some reason, don't believe I have this. I don't know why:confused:

Anyway, for those HOGs who have met me in the real world, know what my arms look like. Here is the best proof I have to offer.......

Also, the tat is the dead-mans hand. Too bad Wild Bill didn't have the Wounded Badger under his hat when his brains were blown out, the bullet would have hit the knife and he might still be alive.....;)

Maybe I'll change the name of this knife. From now on it shall be known as the (drum roll please)........................

"BULLETPROOF BADGER"

Whatcha all think of that????

A LEO was shot in the chest by an accidental discharge from a teammate. He was carrying the BA in a Okuden sheath on his tac vest. The knife stopped the .40 round.

That sure does look to be THE wounded Badger, I have seen it in person myself, as have many old hogs who have been at the Indy 1500 when the original lucky owner was there. I can't believe he sold it!

GPB had a thread about that, surprised you missed it. I got the impression that circumstances forced the sale.

Yup, that's her:thumbup:
I was just as suprised to see that he let it go. Truly a piece of Busse history.

Congrats!!!

Definitely a SOOOOOWEEEEET piece of Busse history to have in your collection!

Prolly won't get an answer but... who was the original HOG owner?

Now box that bad boy up and send it to me. :p

THe economy has been hard on many of our family and friends.

HRK was there and helped out the original owner:thumbup::cool:

Well it WAS only a .40. I mean, that's a glorified 9mm - pipsqueek of a load. Heck, I use a 9mm to trim my toenails.

Worst was for the AD'er. We all know that .40's kB every other round or so. I'm betting he took more damage than the SHBA-wearer.:D
