Depends what you expose it to, but it is usually pretty stable. It will usually get lots of micro scratching fast so a polished surface doesn't look pristine for long.

That's Steve Rice's (STR) handiwork. It started out as a burgundy FRN Sprint Run C16 Goddard and he rebuilt it with titanium scales, backspacer, and clip. He auctioned it off on another forum where I purchased it. It was originally set up for RH TU carry, but Steve switched it to LH TD when I won the auction. One of these days I have to ask him if he could swap the blade out for one from the PE FFG olive FRN Sprint.
If the ti on the Phoenix looks oddly blotchy to anyone, it's because the protective plastic was still on it when that photo was taken and had some bubbles in it.
